The card's value is based on the BNB market price when issued. Anyone can verify the backing reserves directly via the public smart contract address shown during creation. Bean Box gift cards are bearer instruments — whoever possesses the secret code owns the value, similar to physical cash. There is no password reset or recovery process. Always share codes securely (e.g., encrypted messaging, QR in person) and warn recipients to treat them like cash. Bean Box cannot reverse or freeze a redeemed card.
Fees are very low thanks to BNB Chain's infrastructure — typically just a few cents in gas for creation and redemption, even for high-value cards. Transactions finalize in ~3–5 seconds. Creation is instant after BNB deposit confirmation, and redemption is near-instant once the code is entered. No hidden platform fees are charged beyond blockchain gas costs.
Not yet — at launch, redemption is primarily direct: the recipient claims the value as BNB to their wallet or converts it instantly to a stablecoin (USDT/USDC).
